About Us
As a core support organization that plays an important role in the industrial development of Ibaraki Prefecture, we provide management support to small and medium-sized enterprises in Ibaraki Prefecture in close cooperation with the Ibaraki Prefectural Government and various organizations.
We are always trying to create a "New Ibaraki" with the Ibaraki Prefectural Government by responding to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises and developing measures adapted to the current economic and social conditions.

Organization and Business
On the other hand, Ibaraki Prefecture is also active in the manufacturing industry. The shipment value of industrial products exceeds 12 trillion yen, ranking 7th in Japan.
In addition, Ibaraki Prefecture has Japan's largest science city district, Tsukuba where more than 100 public and private research institutes and companies are located.
We are engaged in various businesses to take advantage of Ibaraki prefecture's strengths which has a concentration of advanced science and technology and manufacturing industries in addition to the rich agricultural and marine products nurtured by the geographical conditions, very stable climate, fertile soil, bountiful sea, and many rivers.

In order to receive various consultations from SMEs regarding overseas expansion, we have established the joint
office with JETRO IBARAKI.
Global Expansion Division 1 (In charge of foods ＆ agricultural products)

By setting up Ibaraki prefeture's official booths at the exhibitions held in oversea countries and at the international
exhibitions held in Japan, we are creating opportunities for business negotiations between SMEs in the Ibaraki prefecture
and overseas buyers.
▶Development of the overseas sales channels
In order to support SMEs in their overseas expansion challenge, we subsidize the costs of SMEs exhibiting at the
exhibitions held in Japan and overseas.
Global Expansion Division 2(In charge of machinery and equipment)

exhibitions held in Japan, we are creating opportunities for business negotiations between SMEs in the Ibaraki prefecture

In order to support SMEs` efforts to protect their technologies and trademark rights, we subsidize the cost of filing
patents , trademarks etc. in foreign countries
▶Dispatch of the technical experts to SMEs
We dispatch technical experts to SMEs to solve various technical problems that SMEs are facing.
▶Support for all consultations
A variety of specialists provide one-stop consultation on management issues faced by SMEs, such as sales expansion and
management improvement.

▶Cooperation with universities
Based on the partnership agreements concluded with universities and institutions in the Ibaraki prefecture, we dispatch
lecturers to university classes and lectures to support human resource education and CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility)
activities.
